Bundesliga Augsburg vs. Mainz

The game begins with everyone covered in snow. In the 2nd minute, Augsburg had their first corner. In the 7th minute, Daniel Brosinski does a handball in the box, Augsburg gets awarded a penalty. Alfred Finnbogason takes it 1 minute later and scores! Augsburg is playing better than they have been, earning only 2 points in the last 10 games. In the 23rd minute, Augsburg’s Alfred Finnbogason has another chance to score. Michael Gregoritsch gets fouled and the free kick gets them a good chance. In the 33rd minute, Finnbogason takes it and scores! He doubles the lead for now. In the 42nd minute, Danny Latza gets injured and Alexandru Maxim replaced him. In the 45+1st minute, Mateta has a shot that went just over the bar. The first half wins 2-0 and Augsburg is already about to win.

The second half begins with no halftime substitutions for either teams. In the 49th minute, Augsburg almost got another penalty with a handball. In the 54th minute, Finnbogason has his hat-trick!!! 3 points clear! In the 58th minute, Mateta goes out and Anthony Ujah comes on. In the 61st minute, Finnbogason scores but it didn’t count. In the 68th minute, Ji Dong-Won comes out and Koo Ja-Cheol comes on. The Augsburg fans give Ji a standing ovation. In the 73rd minute, Bote Baku comes out and Karim Onisiwo goes out, as Mainz’s last substitutions. In the 76th minute, Sergio Cordova goes on and Alfred Finnbogason comes out. In the 78th minute, Alexandru gets a yellow card. In the86th minute, Reece Oxford goes on and Jan Moravek comes off for Augsburg. Augsburg ends up winning and having their first win in 11 games.
