The match begins with a lot of the possession for Leon Goretzka. Of course, Nico Schulz runs, and crosses to Leroy Sane who scores! In the 23rd minute, Leon Goretzka is offsides. In the 24th and 27th minute, Manuel Neuer makes amazing saves to keep it from going to 2-1. In the 30th minute, Leroy Sane gets a big chance to at least get his shot on target but he doesn’t get the shot because of one of the Dutch defenders. In the 31st minute, Antonio Rudiger gets a chance with a header but misses. In the 34th minute, Serge Gnabry has such a golazo into the upper-right corner. In the 37th minute, Daley Blind gets booked for a foul and then arguing. The first half ends with Sane’s goal and Gnabry’s golazo. During halftime, Ryan Babel goes out and Steven Bergwijn comes on for the Netherlands.
The second half begins and 3 minutes in, the Netherlands’ Matthijs de Ligt scores! In the 63th minute, Memphis Depay scores and makes it 2-2, just out of Manuel Neuer’s reach. In the 70th minute, Leon Goretzka comes off and Ilkay Gundogan goes on for Germany. In the 88th minute, Marco Reus goes on and Serge Gnabry comes off. In the 90th minute, Nico Schulz scores! That is sure to be the winning goal. In the 90+1st minute, Luuk de Jong goes on and Marten De Roon comes off. The match ends 2-3 with the stunning golazo and last minute goal.
