Luca Waldschmidt takes the kickoff for Freiburg and they put a lot of pressure on Dortmund. In the 9thminute, Julian Weigl makes a great tackle. In the 12th minute, Marco Reus passes to Jadon Sancho who scores! In the 44th minute, Dortmund makes a counter attack after taking the ball from Keven Schlotterbeck. The calm first half ends in the 45+1st minute, Freiburg 0-1 Dortmund.

The second half begins with Marius Wolf getting a twisted ankle in the 50th minute. In the 51st minute, Roman Burki just survives a big let off. In the 54th minute, Marco Reus scores! In the 55th minute, Omer Toprak comes on for Marius Wolf who got injured. In the 59th minute, Janik Haberer gets booked for a foul on Marco Reus. In the 66th minute, Christoph Daferner comes in and Florian Niederlechner goes out for Freiburg. In the 70th minute, Mike Frantz goes out and Jerome Gondorf comes in for Freiburg. One minute later, Christian Pulisic goes in and and Raphael Guerrero goes off for Dortmun. In the 78th minute, Mario Gotze scores his first ever away goal in the Bundesliga! Right after the goal, Paco Alcacer replaces him. In the 85th minute, Pascal Stenzel does a handball so Alcacer takes the penalty and scores! The game ends 0-4.
