This will be Lucas Torro’s 6th game of the season because of injury. The game begins with the Eintracht supporters throwing little bouncy balls onto the field just 2 minutes in. They clear them up in the 3rd minute. Goncalo Paciencia makes a cross in the 8th minute that the Wolfsburg substitute goalie Pavao Pervan easily catches. In the 11th minute, Wout Weghorst takes a shot that goes past Kevin Trapp but Makoto Hasebe saves it with his foot. Luka Jovic finally gets his first touch of the game that could have been a goal. In the 36th minute, Wout Weghorst takes a shot that Kevin Trapp makes a great save for. In the 40th minute, Maximilian Arnold makes a face at Luka Jovic who somehow gets his first yellow card of the season.
The second half begins with Sebastian Rode gets booked for slide tackling Yannick Gerhardt. In the 55th minute, Maximilian Arnold gets booked for tripping Mijat Gacinovic. In the 57th minute, Robin Knoche hit the frame of the goal which could’ve put Wolfsburg ahead. In the 63rd minute, Maximilian Arnold makes a volley that hits the post. In the 64th minute, Yunus Malli goes on for Yannick Gerhardt. In the 69th minute, Sebastian Rode and Luka Jovic come off and Ante Rebic and Jonathan de Guzman go on for Frankfurt. In the 71st minute, Marcel Tisserand gets booked for fouling Gacinovic. In the 78th minute, Jonathan de Guzman scores! Off the bench with only 9 touches and one shot which could be the winner. In the 82nd minute, Marcel Tisserand goes off and Renato Steffen comes on for the wolves. In the 85th minute, Goncalo Paciencia gets booked for a foul. In the 86th, Daniel Ginczek goes off and Felix Klaus replaces him as the last sub for Wolfsburg. In the 90th minute, John Brooks scores the equalizer!!! In the 90+1st minute, Almamy Toure replaces Goncalo Paciencia for Eintracht. The game ends 1-1.
