This will be Benjamin Pavard’s last game in Stuttgart colors. The most important game of the seasons begins with a foul on Santiago Ascacibar. In the 9th minute, Denis Aogo scores with a free kick but it counts as offsides against Nicolas Gonzalez. In the 12th minute, Anastasios Donis misses a big chance. In the 18th minute, Ozan Kabak and Holger Badstuber both on Stuttgart clash heads but they were okay so they kept playing. In the 36th minute, Christian Gentner takes a shot that Rafal Gikiewicz easily saves. In the 45th minute, Rafal Gikiewicz saves Steven Zuber’s shot. The first half is 0-0. During halftime, Mario Gòmez replaces Nicolas Gonzalez for VfB.

The second half begins and Sebastian Andersson and Santiago Ascacibar collide heads. In the 51st minute, Manuel Schmiedebach gets a yellow for a foul on Chadrac Akolo. In the 60th minute, Anastasios Donis gets replaced by Daniel Didavi for Stuttgart. In the 66th minute, Joshua Mees replaces Marcel Hartel for Berlin. In the 68th minute, Gonzalo Castro replaces Steven Zuber. In the 72nd minute, Christian Gentner gets booked for a foul on Grischa Prömel. In the 81st minute, Akagi Gogia replaces Suleiman Abdullahi. In the 90+1st minute, Marvin Friedreich gets booked. 1 minute later, Michael Parensen replaces Robert Zulj. The wistle is blown and this is Union’s first time ever in the Bundesliga!
