Gonzalo Martinez gets credit for the assist. Chicago’s offsides trap didn’t work… no one was offsides. In the 21st minute, Brad Guzan makes the first save of the game with a catch. In the 33rd minute, Franco Escobar gets a yellow card for a foul. In the 43rd minute, Josef Martinez is at a brace! Still a possibility for Martinez to get a hat-trick. the first half is 1-0 with Martinez’s brace.

The second half begins and 10 minutes in, Brek Shea replaces Dion Pereira for Atlanta. In the 59th minue, Jorge Luis Corrales gets booked for a foul. In the 63rd minute, Jorge Luis Corrales and Nemanja Nikolics go out and Przemyslaw Frankowski and Raheem Edwards come on as a double substitution for Chicago. In the 72nd minute, Jeff Larentowicz replaces Julian Gressel for Atlanta. In the 77th minute, Bastian Schweinstieger gets booked for a foul against Brek Shea. In the 80th minute, Justin Meram replaces Gonzalo Martinez for Atlanta. In the 81st minute, Alexander Katai gets replaced by Fabian Herbers for Chicagp. The game ends 2-0.
