The game begins in Lyon, France, this time the U.S. able to use Megan Rapinoe who recovered from a pulled hamstring. In the 10th minute, Sherida Spitse gets booked for the Netherlands after a foul on Rose Lavelle. In the 27th minute, the U.S. win a corner and Julie Ertz takes a great shot from it. In the 28th minute, Becky Sauerbrunn gets injured but quickly recovers 2 minutes later. In the 37th minute, Megan Rapinoe just misses a shot. One minute later, Sari van Veenendaal blocks Alex Morgan’s shot. In the 40th minute, Sari van Veenendaal blocks Tobin Heath’s shot. In the 41st minute, Abby Dahlkemeper gets booked for “a foul” even though the Netherlands player dived. The first half ends 0-0.

During halftime, Alexandra Krieger replaces Kelley O’Hara for the U.S. The second half starts and in the 60th minute, Stefanie van der Gragt gets booked for cleating Alex Morgan on the shoulder. Megan Rapinoe takes the penalty and scores! 8 minutes later, Rose Lavelle scores for the U.S.! 2 minutes later, Jill Roord replaces Lieke Martens for the Netherlands. Another 2 minutes later, Shanice van de Sanden replaces Anouk Dekken for the Netherlands. In the 79th minute, Christine Press replaces Megan Rapinoe for the U.S. She gets a big applause from the U.S. fans. 8 minutes later, Carli Lloyd replaces Tobin Heath. The game ends and the U.S. wins the Women’s World Cup!!!!!!!!!!!
