The game starts at Estadio Cuauhtemoc in Puebla and in the 7th minute, Victor Guzman scores by nutmeg-ing Nicolas Vikonis for Pachuca as the opener! Jonathan Copete has the assist. In the 12th minute, Kevin Alvarez replaces Raul Lopez who got injured. In the 23rd minute, Daniel Arreola’s penalty gets blocked by goalkeeper Rodrigo Rey!! 5 minutes later, Jorge Hernandez gets a direct red for a foul. 1 minute later it gets taken back! In the 46th minute, Jorge Hernandez doubles the lead for Pachuca from outside the box when Nicolas Vikonis was just about covering the open goal! The first half ends 0-2 for Pachuca which moves them from 17th to 13th.

During halftime, Omar Hernandez and Gustavo Alustiza replace Diego Abella and Christian Marrugo for Puebla. In the 55th minute, Victor Guzman knew he was offsides so he left the ball so Ramario Ibarra could quickly get it. When he had it, he took a very powerful shot that went into the upper left corner! In the 61st minute, Pablo Gonzalez replaces Jesus Zavala for Puebla. In the 67th minute, Oscar Murillo gets booked for a foul for Pachuca. 4 minutes later, Luis Chavez replaces Romario Ibarra for Pachuca. Another 4 minutes later, Ruens Sambueza passes to Luis Chavez who slips it in the bottom left corner! 2 minutes later, Leonardo Ulloa replaces Jonathan Copete for Pachuca. The game ends 0-4, way more one-sided then I thought.

The player of the match is…

Rodrigo Rey! He made just two saves, one was a penalty, the other was good and he kept a clean sheet for the first time this season!
