First Half
The game begins in Estadio Azteca with no hope for Cruz Azul or San Luis of going to Liguilla. 7 minutes in, Cruz Azul gets a corner but it goes way off. Axel Wener makes a save for San Luis.
4 minutes later, Milton Caraglio hits the crossbar with his header but it goes in! 1-0 within the first 15 minutes.
In the 29th minute, Juan Castro scores a great bottom corner goal from 25 yards out! The first half ends 1-1.
Second Half
The second half starts and in the 56th minute, Milton Caraglio scores a great header goal at the middle of the goal. in the 65th minute, Pablo Aguilar scores a great low volley just past Axel Werner! In the 74th minute, Cruz Azul scored but was caught offsides.
9 minutes later, Roberto Alvarado replaces Edgar Mendez for Cruz Azul. Another minute later, Brayan Angulo replaces Elias Hernandez. The game ends 3-1.
