Guard1anes 2020 Match day 2 Tigres vs. Pachuca

The game begins and 6 minutes in, Tigres takes a free kick and Pizarro’s header goes just wide! Just 3 minutes later, Luis Chavez is given a yellow foul an obvious foul on Vargas. Another free kick is taken by Gignac. It his the wall and another player fails to shoot.

In the 16th minute, Kevin Alvarez is booked for a silly slide tackle on Javier Aquino. In the 20th minute, Pachuca is awarded the first corner of the game. They take it pretty terribly but the rebound is just wide! Soon later, Vargas gets an attack on for Tigres. But he wastes it by getting fancy and doing a bit of juggling. In the 30th minute, Aquino takes a long shot that goes a long way off.

In the 39th minute, Guido Pizarro’s “Bicycle Kick” goes way over. Quinones takes a shot from really close but Ustari pushes it over with his finger! In the 45th minute, Figueroa has a really good volley that Nahuel easily saves. :0 The first half concludes 0-0.

The second half starts with a couple of substitutions for Pachuca. In the 53rd minute, Duenas shoots from the outside of the box into the bottom right corner! Great goal!

In the 63rd minute, Pachuca thought they had a breakaway but was called off sides. 5 minutes later, Ismael Sosa takes a free kick that Nahuel saves and kicks it 1-0. In the 72nd minute, Ustari, makes a great bottom corner save! 3 minutes later, Efrain Orona is in the book when he accidentally steps on Pizarro’s foot.

In the 77th minute, Gignac is in the box but I don’t know how he shot it wide. 2 minutes later, Gignac takes a bicycle kick and hits the post! I was holding my breath when he took that shot 🙂 In the 85th minute, Nahuel had a great diving save but Sosa’s rebound was just too much for him. 1-1.

In the last minute of three minutes additional time, Emmanuel Garcia and Quinones get booked. The game ends 1-1.
