Paris Saint Germain beat RB Leipzig 3-0 and Munich beat Lyon 3-0.
PSG vs Bayern starts with lots of physical play within the first 5 minutes. In the 8th minute, Kylian Mbappe is fouled by Serge Gnabry and Leon Goretzka for a PSG free kick. Neymar takes the kick but Alphonso Davies heads it away. In the 14th minute, Mbappe sets up an attack with some fancy passes but no shots in the end.
4 minutes later, Neymar comes near Manuel Neuer who blocks his shot and goes wide. Neymar just keeps it in but Neuer deflects it back out of play. In the 22nd minute, Robert Lewandowski finally takes a shot for Bayern… but hits the post. Just one minute later, PSG’s Angel Di Maria gets a shot but it sails way over even when the Bayern defense had scattered. Munich’s Jerome Boateng gets injured and replaced by Niklas Sule. In the 27th minute, Davies just tackles Thilo Kehrer to the ground giving him a yellow card.
In the 32nd minute, Lewandowski heads the ball from really close but PSG’s Keylor Navas does a good job blocking it and recovering. 7 minutes from the end of the first half, Joshua Kimmich takes a free kick for Munich. The kick ends without a shot. In the 45th minute, Munich makes a passing mistake in the box. Neuer easily saves Mbappe’s horrible shot.
The second half starts and just 34 seconds in Alphonso Davies is able to shoot. In the 52nd minute, Gnabry of Bayern and Leandro Paredes of PSG get yellow cards for arguing. Marquinhos deflects a Munich shot over the bar 3 minutes later. In the 59th minute, Kimmich crosses to Coman who gets a great header into the right side! Goal for Bayern! PSG 0-1 BMU
In the 65th minute, PSG takes Leandro off and replaces hime with Marco Verrati. In the 68th minute, Munich makes a double substitution. 2 minutes later, Neuer makes a great foot save!
In the 80th minute, Juan Bernat and Angel Di Maria come off for Layvin Kurzawa and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting. Between the 81st and 85th minutes, PSG gets 3 yellow cards.
The final whistle is blown and Munich have won the Champions League! A very close game.
